Of course I'll be at work, so have to drop by their office after work.
My order number is 3295, shipping Nov 5.
Got my mail from fedex a couple of hours later than yours although my order number is lower.
Just thought people would like to know so they can stop nailbiting :-)k

Nov 6, 2007 7:44 AM In transit POYLE GB

Poyle seems to be very close to Heathrow airport

The reader is getting closer

Since my iLiad is in repair and has been for the last two months or so... I very much look forward to this new reader. I have been reading old style books for some time now..

Off to read!

It arrived!

5 hours before the estimated time of arrival, FedEx delivered!

I tore the box open, and was first afraid, there was nothing in there, but an USB-Cord;
But then, the relevation: It realy is thin, and i had to look twice, too find it in the box!

Nothing else in the box, just the abovementioned items.
Reader was charged to 50%, comes preloaded with some DEMOS and some Gutenberg (via Feedbooks).
As far as i played around, DEMOS are in Mobipocket prc, Gutenberg stuff is in pdf, but formated for the screen.

So again, don't lose your hopes, if it hasn't been delivered yet, my order Nr. was 2511!

And now, off to read!

The Cybook is about 45 min away with car, but it is still going to take about 24 hours before it's delivered. It's in international shipment release - I guess that is where the Vat will be added - 24%

Shipping Confirmations

So, the highest order number I've seen with a shipping confirmation is 3295. Anyone higher than that received notice from FedEx?

Thanks,
Bob

How are the Feedbook versions available on the Cybook formatted? If I download the Sony Reader version I get something that I find very hard to read since the font size is to large for me. The version included on the Cybook looked much nicer and was for me much more readable. So how do I download this version?

The Sony version only had 40-45 characters per line. Isn't this to little according to typographical rules of thumb?

We'll offer a template for the Cybook v3 as soon as I'll have the device.

In the meantime, if you're registered you can create a custom PDF for your own taste: I'll ask Michael for the settings he used to generate these books with our platform and add it on the custom PDF page. In the meantime, simply click on the Sony Reader while on this page, add some extra margin and change the font size to what you prefer.

The Cybook will also support our epub output in the future, although I'm not sure when epub support will be added on the Cybook exactly.
