I'm not sure how it works with large publishers, but small/self-publishers who have the 70% royalty option have to pay an ebook "delivery fee" (whether it's via wifi or 3G). It's deducted from the list price before calculating the royalty, and it's based on file size (number of megabytes). In the U.S., the delivery fee is $0.15/MB. There is no such fee for the 35% royalty option.

Well I only want that option to use it while I'm overseas to check email and such. I much prefer my phone for Web browsing. But I tried that email a book to my kindle address function, and it told me that I had to connect to a wifi to do it. So it is very limiting. I might get a used k3 just to compare.....
