There is no additional configuration. Well, you can temporarily disable it via
adb shell disable and re-enable it with adb shell enable .
And reinstall an installed partition with adb shell setup.
I am a happy camper right now and I will not touch my running system. Until tomorrow at least.

Seriously, thank you very much. MR won't let me give you some K again so soon, so feel hugged (so much better than K, I know )

It was great that you got the answer to your question while I was offline. This is such a wonderful forum.

Now we wait for the next firmware update and do this all over again
Cheers

What I'm wondering now is whether it is safe to purchase apps from the Market on IQ.
It seeems that I have to enter my credit card information to purchase apps.
I'm not sure of the security status of my IQ...

What do you think about this?

My google account has payment information that I entered a year ago on my computer, not linked to my credit card but to my paypal account. Can't you do the same maybe? I mean link it to a paypal account from your computer ?

Seriously, I would do that kind of information sharing with a wired connection myself. Unless you have some kind of secure connection over Wi-Fi (and that doesn't guarantee anything), I would not risk it. I would go ethic Paypal as well.

the information is only introduced once. It is saved later so that you don't have to type it again.

Thank you for the advice.
I'd rather find the way to pay with the paypal account om my computer.
Although I'm connected with a secured Wifi connection, I'm not familiar with revealing the personal information on the wireless condition.

Thanks, again, hope you alll have a nice day!

Saw it yesterday as I updated the normal version, but was in a rush and did not look for the description. What are the advantages (me being lazy and asking instead of looking it up myself) ?

No idea, really. I usually buy the pro / donate version of apps I frequently use.

I'll install Appear2sd myself this weekend. Anyone who changed their internal SD card to see if we can use the extra storage for this?

a2sd will find your ext3 partition on any card with any partition number.
And if there is more than one (empty) ext3 partition, it will ask you which one it should use.

I use the internal card for this exact purpose and a2sd works fine.
