Purse? whats that? I carry a Timbucktu bag as my briefcase for work, but none of this purse silliness. If it can't go in my pockets, its not worth carrying.

But my kindle can't go in my pocket, and I take it EVERYWHERE. I have a horror of being stuck in a hospital waiting room or somewhere similar (and it happens to me often enough to be a valid fear!), and not having my kindle and a knitting project of some sort.

No purse here either. And add me to the group bemoaning tiny or non-existent pockets in women's pants. The poor s.other gets to hear it all over again every time a pair of jeans wears out. ("I used to have a pair of girl pants with decent size pockets, I don't know why they don't make them that way usually. I could get guy pants again, but they don't fit right. And what's with all the **** stretchy jeans?! )
Right front: keyring (including store cards, usb stick), Left front: car key, lip balm, Right back: wallet, Left back: cell phone (the 'indestructible' kind). If I'm going to the doctor or something I just carry the book/reader.
I bought my first purse in 10 years last year since bridesmaids dresses don't have pockets.
