Not on this site. There is a large international contingent, which means more EPub and not Kindle. The board has a very strong Sony crowd which is not a reflection of the US ereader market but more clearly represents the European market.

I know travelling over Christmas I saw Kindles at the airport. I saw one Nook, no Kobos or Sonys.

We've had an incredible number of newcomers registering over the past week, which doesn't surprise me at all. Their contribution to this poll over the next couple of days would be valuable. On Jan 1, I guess, all bets are in and we can only base an idea of any popularity swing here at Mobile Read on those. Cheers. Neil

PocketBook 360 has been ordered. I like the community in the subforum and support for languages besides English.

Got a Sony 950. Love it, especially the large screen. I was a bit concerned about not being able to read the books I had purchased from the Barnes & Noble store, but a Google search showed me how to modify the files, and boom, problem solved.

I had 2 votes :-) I picked up a Kindle 2 in January to replace my missing Kindle 1. (I found the Kindle 1 after 3 months.) The week before Christmas, I picked up the Nook Color. I had been looking at the iPad since it came out but each time I tried it at the Apple Store it seemed to bulky and awkward to use as an e-reader. The Nook Color was just the right size and cost a lot less than the iPad so the decision was a no-brainer.

I love both of my e-readers :-)

I bought a JetBook Lite just before Christmas to take advantage of the sale at NewEgg. I've already read a few short novels on it. Just before it arrived I bought a hardcover book at my favorite used book store ... I haven't opened it yet.

I didn't buy anything, but Santa was very, very nice to me this year. I received a wifi kindle and an ipad, both unexpected. I previously had had no real interest in an e-reader but I fell in love with the kindle as soon as I sat down and started reading on it. I knew they were well regarded but I honestly had no idea how cool they are! As for the ipad, it's a lot of fun of course, and it's a nice, if disproportionately expensive, compliment to the kindle.

I don't really think that the poll tells us much. The Kindle was the number one seller but not by much. I think it says that the people on this board are good at doing research and figuring out what e-reader is best for them and ordering it.

That is about it.
