After some mild and sunny days we're in for a couple of wet days. Today it'll rain, mostly drizzle, until early to mid evening and tomorrow it'll start raining in the afternoon until some time in the evening. Temperature will be around 15C, but from Monday the temperature will drop a few degrees.

Last nights forecast said 'occasional light rain' for our area. I woke up this morning and it was absolutely ipping it down! Still raining now but finer than earlier.

Just curious whether there are letters missing from your verb ("ipping it down") or if this is a term I haven't heard before?

I meant to write 'tipping' but in my haste to post I sort of zigged when I should have zagged,as it were! Still, 'ipping' could catch on,who knows!

It was sunny today with temps in the 40s-low 50s (F). It is 46 now at 10:40pm. We finally started getting heat Tuesday early evening. I had to text the super (who lives in building next door) last Friday and again on Tuesday morning. Then I emailed the building management. They replied that the heat was on, but I wasn't getting any until later in the day. I go through this every year when it starts getting cold for about 8 years. It should be sunny on Friday and might be at 39 F early in the morning.

Our first freeze last night -- NC jumps from summer to winter, with maybe a few days of fall weather.

I had to scrape my windshield this morning! I have a nice blanket for the car, but I couldn't put it on last night as it was raining. I am absolutely ecstatic!

Beautiful day, today! The afternoon temperatures were in the low 50s (F) with not a cloud in the sky. The deer were out, browsing on the neighbors' lawns, and a fox made a rare afternoon appearance.

As soon as the sun set the temperature dropped from 52° to 38° -- we've been dipping into the 20s at night for a while.

On Wednesday (in NYC) the temp went up to 55 F., and the heat went off. Cold inside (at home). It got up to 68 on Thursday and then at 9pm the rain started with a cold front. It's 46 F. and raining now at 1:00 AM. We should get the heat back in the morning. We never get heat during the night. NYC heat regs are too lax, so it is cold inside when we get this in-between weather (50-68 degrees).
