After a couple of cooler days we've had a warm day yesterday, 25C, and today will be slightly warmer at 26C. From tomorrow it'll cool down again nicely until next Friday and Saturday when we'll possibly get temperatures of 28C (or so is the prediction at one weather website at the moment). It seems that this summer the weather pattern is a couple of cooler (sometimes rainy) days, followed by one or two warm to hot days before it cools down again.

Earlier this week we were supposed to get a lot of rain, but we barely got any. However, the south province of Limburg has flooding problems. Luckily no people died in our country but over 160 died in Germany and Belgium. The high water is now slowly moving north.

It's sunny and temperature will be around 24C (so around 28C where I live). It did cool down nicely during the night. Up until Saturday the weather will be like this; 22-25C, sunny, cooler nights. On Saturday it'll be warm: 28C, but with rain and possibly thunder, followed by warm (and probably humid) night.

Incredibly hot and promising hotter later today and tomorrow.Thursday is meant to be the peak of the heatwave, and thereafter cooling slightly!

The sky was a hazy shade of orange for most of the day. We had this happen last year, too. Smoke from the fires out west -- up to 2000 miles away -- has reached the upper atmosphere and drifted out here. Our air quality has also taken a hit.

We might get a break Wednesday afternoon -- strong rainstorms are expected.

Fairly similar to the last couple of days. A bit warmer at 25C, mostly sunny, some clouds, barely any winds. Officially it cooled down nicely during the night, to around 12C, but in the city center it was just over 15C, probably because there was very little wind.

Over the weekend rain is predicted, which will be a nice relief from my allergies (they aren't bad, just annoying, but still).

It's warming up again. It'll be in the 80's for the next week or so. During our recent triple digit heatwave, Mt Rainier took a severe hit and lost 30% of its snowpack. The poor mountain looks bare compared to what it usually looks like. I hate seeing it that way.

Today will be another warm day, 24C, but it's cloudy which in the Netherlands means it's humid and it will feel a lot warmer than it actually is. During the afternoon and evening there's a possibility of showers, with thunder and/or hail. Or maybe not.

From tomorrow temperatures will be around 20C most of the week, with a possibility of rain each day. The cloudy weather means it won't warm up much during the day, the drawbacks are that it's going to be humid and during the night temperatures won't drop a lot either.

I'm so glad I had the opportunity to see the glaciers of Mt Rainier and Mt Olympus before climate change devastates them entirely. I'm afraid it's a pleasure my great grandchildren may never know.

It's summer in NC - the same forecast for the next 2 months at least: 90+ F, >90% humidity, pop-up storms in the afternoon ....

The high temperature for the day was 86°F today. Some pop-up thunderstorms skirted just south of us, but all we got were some threatening clouds. It was very humid, but every once in a while there was a good breeze that made it more tolerable. This should be the model for the rest of the week, but there's always the chance one of the showers will find us.

Cloudy here, but very warm and extremely humid. We have just had a couple of days of fresher heat, minus the humidity and it was really nice.
Today everything seems sticky again!
