So, by the way..........have I mentioned, that my husband had his second pt/ct scan two weeks ago..........and it came out frickin' clean???

Thats 4 times, folks, count 'em FOUR times this man has beat the big C.....one colo-rectal, (surgery, chemo and radiation) two in his right lung, (two surgeries, a year apart that one is gone now), and one in his remaining lung..........just some serious radiation for that one.

This man is 75 yrs old, hasn't smoked since July 29, 1989, and doesn't drink much.......anymore.

I realize not all people have this same success story, but I just want to keep reiterating.......cancer can be beaten.

Never lose hope. True, it does seem to love my husband, a LOT, but either he's too ornery, or we've got some seriously outstanding docs and treatments, or there is a force out there looking out for us.

Personally, I think its a combination of everything. We've been extremely lucky, I don't know exactly why.

But.........I'm thankful.

That's great news! My 82y/o FIL seems also to have beaten cancer(OK well at least beaten it back). 4 years ago he had a kidney out and the other one is not so good. He has lumps in his liver and lungs and we thought he wasn't going to make Christmas (The one before last). He is still kicking and doing for himself quite well thank you. I think something else might kill him before the cancer does.

There are good news stories out there. Cheers DG for another one!
