The Devil's Bed by Doug Lamoreux $0.99 at Amazon US. (For once, not a Smile link.)

I read this one a few months back. It isn't what I thought it would be (a book version of Tombs of the Blind Dead) and it took a while to really get rolling. But in the end, I really enjoyed it.

The Horror Stories of Robert E. Howard is $1.99 at Amazon US. If you only know Howard from Conan, he's worth branching out on. I read a few of these stories years ago in Baen's Cthulhu: The Mythos and Kindred Horrors collection and enjoyed them.

All of those stories (except Valley of the Worm and a couple of poems) are in this book along with many more. It's a good deal.

I do have The Ghost Pirates & Other Revenants of The Sea. I've always wanted to read his story The Voice in the Night,which was filmed as Matango: Attack of the Mushroom People.

I LOVE his work, and have read almost everything by him and have all his important work. I highly recommend the expensive, but necessary 5-volume set from Nighthade. (I only have the ebook set.)

I didn't know about the connection to that film. I'll have to check that out.
