Ok, still having issues with very light tapping not turning the page. Perhaps I am tapping too lightly? Yet after 5 identically light taps, the page does turn.
I still wonder if I am tapping too lightly. I am perhaps more accustomed to IR touch screens. I'd appreciate some feedback regarding very light touches. |

I had the same problem with one of my three Voyages. All of them had the uneven lighting issue, one of them also showed a massive unresponsiveness to light taps, especially in the lower right corner of the screen.
Very light touches did work on the other two devices, though. If the problem persists on your device, I would recommend an exchange. |

@booklover6: The Voyage is the most responsive of all the readers I have had (and you know what that means

Would a factory reset fix it, or should I just arrange an exchange?

I find I have to tap a couple of times too on my Voyage. I am a bit touch screen challenged though. My PW1 was way more responsive though, I barely had to touch with a feather light touch. The voyage, I have to tap differently. Not harder, just more skin. I can't describe it well. I only use the page thingies to read and I just do a bit more careful when doing search and stuff.
Out of curiosity I had my husband try the PW1, which is his and then the Voyage. It turns fine at first tap with him, go figure. But I still have to sometimes tap a few times. eta: like just right now I tested it and its turning the page at each tap , go figure. |

you can try a factory reset, but I don't think it will solve the touch problem.

I'm glad you wrote this. Most of the time page-turns are fine for me with a light tap. But every now and then I have to tap a couple times. At first I thought I wasn't tapping hard enough, but like you, I now believe it has more to do with amount of contact with skin rather than pressure.

Maybe your Voyager is similar. Also, IR immediately reacts if the IR-beam is broken. This can already be done without even touching the screen. Capacitve touch can be created to require a light or a heavy tocuh; maybe Amazon did the latter, to prevent accidental page turning. |

Hi.
I just received my Voyage today, and want to make a question for who has pw2 and voyage. the lighting in my pw2 is yellowish but in my voyage the lighting has a purple hue. Have you have perceived it too? thanks in advanced. |

My hubby's PW2 screen is more cream than mine which is more white. I've attached a picture but it probably doesn't help much. My Voyage doesn't have a purplish hue its white. The picture shows both on the same font and max brightness but this is the middle of the day here. The Voyage is on the left

My PW2 has a distinctly yellow tint to the light when compared side-by-side with my Voyage, which has a white light. I've never heard of anyone having a purple light, though - the lighting LEDs are supposedly white light.

Thanks!.
The purple hue I only see when I compare voyage directly with H2o or PW2. I´m going to use it and if I am annoyed I ask for a replacement. greetings. |

I have a PW1 and a Voyage and the difference is that the Voyage has a yellowish light (a worm light) and the PW1 has a bluish light (more cold).
