They say we`re young and we don`t know
Won`t find out untill we grow
Well I don`t know baby that`s true
'Cause you got me and baby I got you

Babe, I got you babe, I got you, Babe.

They say our love won`t pay the rent
Before it`s earned our money`s always spent
I guess that`s so, we don`t have a lot
But at least I`m sure of all the things we got

Babe, I got you babe, I got you, Babe.

Good morning, everyone! Another beautiful September morn, almost as nice as the one painted by Paul Émile Chabas, and not nearly so controversial. Steaming mug of Fortnum & Mason's "Royal Blend" tea to start off the day... no deeds to do, no promises to keep... Play Day!

I was on my way to bed when I answered the question last night, and claim Bombay Sapphire for my trite answer. To be more factual...

The first girl I ever kissed (other than my mother) was Phyllis Benjamin, who promptly punched me in the stomach. We were eight years old. The next day I gave her a plastic ring and asked her to marry me. She threw the ring into the gutter and punched me in the stomach again. Fortunately, she stopped punching me by the time we reached Junior High. We have remained friends ever since. In fact, I have had her latest e-mail in my in-box for the past few days from her that I need to respond to. These days we write back and forth 5-6 times a year.

The first girl I ever 'really' kissed, and who actually kissed me back was named Gloria Garber. We were 12 years old, campers at a children's summer ranch camp in New York State, called Circle S Ranch. In fact, it was she who initiated the kissing. Scared the hell out of me! We sat under a tree and played kissy-face for what seemed like the whole night (but in fact was probably only an hour. You don't get much unsupervised time when you are a 12-year old camper...) Gloria became my girlfriend for the rest of the summer, and we 'practiced' kissing when ever we could. (I managed to overcome my fear...) When camp closed at the end of August, I never saw nor heard from Gloria again. Probably just as well... She could swim faster than me, beat me in Indian Wrestling, and ate more than I did.

I'm going to make another mug of tea and see if I can track down Gloria with the internet...

Some (now cold) assam. I hate it when I get distracted and forget to finish my tea. :-(

My best green smoothie up to now. 1 orange (Valencia), 1/4 of a pear (frozen), 1 cup of frozen broccoli, ! slice of ginger root, 1 and 1/2 cup of water.

breakfast was rolled oats MWed in water with a pinch of salt and half a cup of frozen forest berries.

Water for me, after a lunch of cherry tomatoes and canned mackerel. Tried on the new TBM shoes that wife got for me yesterday and they fit. I am so easy to dress, to feed and to please. In exchange I gave her unlimited support, mostly moral. Promised, as a matter of fact.

A cup of English Breakfast to start the morning. I'm going to try this tea thing for a couple of days and see what I think. It's not that I haven't drunk tea before, but I've always been pretty lazy with a quick cup of instant coffee in the morning.

Nope. The third cup I put a bit less tea and steeped for 2 minutes. Maybe...maybe a little bit better but not sure.

What brand of English Breakfast do you try? (loose tea?)

Water water water...it is not 27°C but 20°C outside makes it very hot inside.
Maybe a cup of Keemun with lunch in a few. I am back to Tea House Emporium's Keemun. The same one that Keemun saga started for me with. I think it is good for the office because it is has a very powerful flavour. I don't know how it would go at home nowdays.

No loose tea today. I've done loose tea in the past, but none on hand. This one is Bigelow (not purchased by me, but trying it). There's lots of tea stores in the city though so I might buy some leaves later this week.

It's not bad. In the stores here there's the usual Twinings, Tetley, and Stash options for the bagged varieties.

Oh no. it is very pleasant to walk in. Now I have 3 pairs, sandals (good in the rainy season up North with woolen socks, so I can pass for a Northerner myself , if I keep my mouth shut of course, but they all do anyway. the problem is my tan, only people working outside in road maintenance or the like, would have that, it's becoming very difficult), summer whites and now this gorgeous goretex for whole winter.

Pot one, a blend of Rooibos Lemon and Vanilla. I am behaving myself and holding off a week to order my Rooibos replacements. Trying to keep the monthly credit card bill down and this month already includes birthday dinner and birthday party.
