It's still grey, it's still windy (though a little less than earlier in the week) and it's still rainy. It's not cold though, 12C. I'm thoroughly fed up with this weather. From Sunday it'll slowly start getting better and from Tuesday it's going to be dry for a while.

We lucked out! Today's forecast was for the temperature to be in the mid 60s (F) with rain, light to moderate, all day. We did get a little rain in the morning, but in the afternoon we had sun, clouds, a breeze, and temperatures in the mid 70s. There are noticeably more birds in the area and the frogs should make their appearance next week.

We're still due to have rain tonight, but that's okay.

EDIT: The rain caught up to us at about 8 PM. Very heavy rain, windy, and quite a bit of lightning. It made for an interesting ride!

It's suppose to be dry but cooler tomorrow.

After a chilly stretch, today was beautiful. The high temperature was in the mid-70s (F) with moderate breezes and sun through hazy clouds. The spring peepers were out on schedule, the forsythia have yellow buds, and the red maple behind the kitchen is in bloom. And, yes, there's pollen in the air.

We're due for another cold snap before this weather becomes routine.

It's traditional in NC to proceed directly from winter to summer ... sometimes more than once ...

We've had a couple of nice days. Which means it's now time for bad weather. From mid-afternoon it's going to rain, with possible thunderstorms and hail. For tomorrow the prediction is similar. After that it'll be dry again and temperatures will rise.

A very nice day. Our high temperature reached the mid-60s (F) and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Good weather for sitting on the back deck with an ereader and a mug of tea.

Unfortunately, it was very windy and the humidity was very low -- forest fire weather -- and we've had some of our trademark Pine Barrens fires an hour or two south of us.
