Going by the picture on the main page these same books are on sale at Amazon today also.

I got a notice for another one of those Kobo Insider surveys. Great, I'd really like the chance to give my opinion on them right now!

Except I forgot how bizarre, frustrating, and useless these surveys are. I don't even know what these questions mean, let alone how to answer them. Do I think Google Play Books is "authentic," "open," and "thoughtful"? Is this a dating website or a bookstore? I have no idea how to apply those concepts to a website.

I took that survey. Some of those questions are basically there to make sure you are paying attention to the questions and not just marking the same answer each time. There is a place in the survey where they ask about your perception of customer service and the website, etc. In general it's a comparison of their service/website to Google Play, although there were questions in there about whether you use Amazon, Apple, and others.

I'm lucky enough to find a few books that actually interest me.

When I checked out three eligible books, the code applied to everything on the cart.

Where are you getting the codes from? When I used the link it just says How much will you save and Get 50-90% off selected books.

I ignore and delete all kobo emails now, they have nothing for me as only the discount codes worked on the books I buy.
