Sounds like Genmaicha to me. Sencha with toasted rice.
I am finishing a pot of Rooibo Vanilla. There are far too many posts to respond to but I would vote for Italian. It is a gorgeous language. The rules don't seem to apply for most of the language but it sounds sexy as all hell and gone. |

You are very welcome Billi. Die Freude ist ganz meinerseits, gnädige Frau.
With German I have two stories. One is that of my father who was of German mother tongue, worked for a German company, spoke German with mother, brothers and sisters, and who never arrived to teach me the language of Goethe. Eh. Facts of life. At that time I was quite happy to escape endless sessions of auf und zu. He refused to go on until the pronounce was perfect ... ![]() The second story is of my philosophy teacher in high school. Before the war he was a brilliant student of medicine. After hard earned experiences that obviously changed his priorities, he wanted to contribute to the ideal progress of the new generations. He got a degree in philosophy and became a dedicated and brilliant educator. His lectures and readings are still alive in my mind. He told us that he learned German to be able to read Hegel in original. And I had to read Mann in Italian, and Heinrich Böll, and Rainer Maria Rilke, and on and on. Cava, Rosé. Second glas = I am drunk (I can drink quite a good amount of tequila and be fine, but wine, especially red which I love, not so much).

![]() On a tour of one-night-stands, my suitcase and guitar at hand And every stop is neatly planned for a poet and a one-man band Homeward bound, I wish I was homeward bound Home, where my thoughts escape, at home, where my music's playin' Home, where my love lies waitin' silently for me ![]() ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCfJfXPdSRo ) Well, airport rather than railway station, but the idea's the same... Got a call last week; "We need you to be at the marina south of Agana... tomorrow. Meet the boat, the 'Lydia Lee' for a few days of work." Well, Agana is the main harbor on the island of Guam, in the Northern Marianas, and the 'few days of work' were between 15-40 meters down, around the islands north of Guam; Rota, Tinnian, and Saipan. Nice boat, nice people, nice weather, water as clear as an aquarium. Nice work, but tiring. These folks were making 4-5 dives every day! I'm getting too old for this stuff! My plane takes off in two hours, and I should be sitting at home drinking good tea in five hours. Damn, you'd think a nice boat like that would have tea... and I was so rushed I forgot to pack my own. Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home for good tea! See you soon. Stitchawl |

Had a green smoothie this morning, and a coffee, but I still need to drink my water and exercise, and right now I do not feel like it at all.

That's a big compliment. Let's put it this way: I work as a German and have fun as an Italian. Milano, were I grew, leads you toward both attitudes.

I'm in Tea Heaven! SOOOO many good ones to chose from, but only one mouth to drink with.. As soon as I walked in the door I made a mug of East India Company's "Keemun Downy Bud." After a shower and unpacking my kit I made a mug of my unbranded Keemun. Then I washed my gear, uploaded the new pictures, and filled the washing machine... and then made a mug of Taylors of Harrogate's "Yorkshire" tea. I may never sleep again.
