I've read the 1st book in the 3rd series. It was interesting and in spots a bit slow. But as a whole, it has the potential to pick up. I do have the 2nd book. It's on my 650 to be read as the first book I start in February.

I like the idea of Nyssa trying to read Finnegan's Wake. Maybe the most unreadable book of all time.

There is also one that perverts a classic tale, 50 Shades of Alice in Wonderland. You could try that if the perverted chicken is not all that good. |

Next is one from Baen's February Bundle (no longer available as a bundle). I'm going to read through my purchases being going on to backlog. So: Necessity's Child by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller |

I just discovered this place and I love the recommendations.
I am currently reading 'The Historian' by Elizabeth Kostova and I am slowly being pulled into the plot. |

I'm just about to begin a re-read of Homer's "Illiad." For some reason, the voice of 'Siri' on my phone makes me think of Helen...

. It's all in rhyming couplets. There's only so much of that that I can stand. Honestly, if you want to read the Iliad, there really are MUCH better translations available.
