Very sunny, very windy, and cold. The high temperature for the day was right after midnight. Afternoon temps were in the mid to high 30s (F), with the wind chill making it feel like the 20s. But the "wind" in "wind chill" makes sure that cold air penetrates well!

Much like yesterday -- it was very sunny and a bit warmer. But, there was no wind, and that made a big difference. Nearly all of the leaves have fallen, and it was a beautiful November day.

But 4:44 really is too early for sunset!

They are calling for up to two inches of snow tomorrow

Winter has come early compare to previous years. This weather pattern reminds me of the I experienced growing up here in St Louis not the unusual weather we had for the past three years.

No heat on as we are saving pennies by enjoying residual heat from other apartments. That will change as most turn off there baseboards when they leave for work but it's the weekend so all are home.

Cold, wet and raw. Been in the 40s with rain all day. Were it 10-15 degrees colder, this would be lovely snow.

No one can see that horribly painted new traffic pattern at business 15-501 and 15-501 either. And add to that a UNC game tonight.

Well, yeah, the sun is out. That makes it feel nice! But it was 20 degrees around 10:45, when I walked the dogs. Our high is 30 today. Brrr.

We had rain overnight and through the morning. Right now it's overcast and in the mid-40s (F). Tomorrow should also be overcast with highs near 40.

But the big news is the forecast for Thursday. Right now they're calling for three to five inches of snow and ice. Unfortunately, I'll need to be out driving in it, so I'm hoping they refine it down a bit.

The road into the neighborhood did, yeah. Cops came to the door around 8:45 to tell everyone to move their cars out. House was totally safe, but cars might not have been. Walked back to the house in about 10 inches of very cold water.

But it had all receded by the time I had to leave for court this morning.

Our neighborhood is entered by a bridge that crosses over a creek. The creek is part of a larger stream system that has been really overtaxed by the hurricanes and heavy rains. Hooray global warming.
