My rant of the day? Butter pecan ice cream. It should always have a yellow tint, just like butter. White butter pecan just doesn't taste as good. That yellow food dye must add some flavor!

Ummm. Didn't the yellow tint in butter start with MARGARINE .... when they were trying to help consumers tell the difference? Butter is mostly white.
But I bet you knew that

Ummmm.... no. Butter is yellow. But it's much more yellow from cows on a grass diet.

Although most vegetable fat spreads do add rather too much colouring.

If you run up and jump every time a visitor comes, then wiggle your body and follow them around wiggling etc etc you too could stay trim!

Bread(especially wholemeal) is on the good list, but biscuits, pastry, pies, pasties, cakes, doughnuts, bread with cheese and ham toppings - are specifically on the avoid list. along with chocolate

Nope, butter is yellow. When I was growing up in Wisconsin (the dairy state) it was illegal to sell margarine. Import controls for the dairy farmers, don’t you know!

At any rate, I never saw margarine until I was nine, and it had a little bubble of dye in it that you had to break and kneed the dye through the bag of margarine to make it look like butter.

GRRRRRR!!!! little PUNKS! when I was in the store today there was a group of obviously stoned teens. I don't normally have an issue with this, I was at one point a stoned teen, had at least one child that was a stoned teen, and some of my favorite people are stoned snowboarders. anyway.... at least two of them were trolling through the artisan breads, tearing off pieces, eating them, dropping them back in the bags and giggling off through the store. I confronted two of them, told them it was seriously tacky, and told the store.
