Yesterday was another pleasant day. Today it's going to be warmer but mostly cloudy, which means it most like will get muggy. Tomorrow the rain will return.

Today we had a sun monsoon! Rain so heavy I couldn't see across the street -- with bright sunlight!

Heavy clouds, so no Perseids. Again.

I can't remember the last time we had good viewing conditions here for the Perseids.

It's like the man said, with one foot in a bucket full of boiling water and the other in a bucket full of ice cubes; "On average it is pretty comfortable."

About 20C, mostly cloudy and the possibility of hard rain showers and thunderstorms. So far it drizzled a hit. It is very muggy though.

Very heavy rain and thunderstorms this morning. Hubby saw the lightning hit the street right in front of us. We lost the Tivo and the receiver. We bought the Tivo just last month, and the receiver was five years old. The TV, Fire TV, NAS, and a bunch of other things are fine. All of these were plugged in to an expensive Monster power surge strip that was pretty useless, at least for the expensive stuff. It would have been nice to get a new TV.

We've had some torrential downpours today. At least I call it it torrential when you're within a mile from home on you bicycle and you're drenched, as in: I need to put dry underwear on.

Now we've got beautiful clouds, but it's very humid.

It was sunny, hot and humid until about 15 minutes ago. Then it got very dark and the rain just started pouring straight down. Still hot, though.

According to radar it's a small but intense local storm. It'll move off soon, but we could have another if the winds are right. And in between it will be sunny, hot and really humid.

It was another pleasant day 21C, some clouds, some sun and a nice breeze. We had a bit of drizzle a little while ago, but that didn't last long.
