How many people would want to use a jackhammer to eat a potato chip? Would it not be easier to soak the potato chips in water to soften them? Anyone remember the name of Jaws' dentist?

Wouldn't soaking chips in water cause them to be soggy? Isn't the crunch an important part of eating a potato chip? Wouldn't a soggy potato chip sound like "squish" when you bite into it?

Didn't the conversation move in the direction of how to counter the sheer hardness of the uncrunchable potato chips? It is possible what we are developing the world's hardest substance? Could these potato chips be the result of a transporter accident involving diamonds and potatoes?
