solved: solved it was integers for type.
I wish that count pages plugin worked for me in calibre.

like in the customize count pages, nothing actually shows up in the drop button for the custom columns.

readability options doesn't work either.

I keep thinking that count pages plugin doesn't work for macOS Ventura 13.4 or calibre 6.21.

maybe there is something I am not adding to the customize count pages plugin.

Oddly the plugin does work for me under Windows 11, MacOS Ventura 13.4 and 3 flavours of Linux (the MacOS and Linux are in VMs). Did you create the custom columns with the correct formats and names? Word count and page count need to be integer while the other custom columns need to be floating point. All spelled out in the fine documentation located at Count Pages.

I was playing a game. I put /clear into the chat/console, expecting it to clear all the text on the screen. Instead, it cleared my game inventory.

For extra fun, I used Alt+F4 to close the game before it autosaved. Turns out closing the game via Alt+F4 triggers an autosave...

I wonder which syllable of 'ig-nore' the developers of of phpBB don't get.

We're all concerned and worried about what artificial intelligence will come to.
We've all read that one about the cat in the box or basket which shows better logic understanding than that of a four year-old.
Google and Bing all say that they are integrating that, but when you search for something they do the most primitive word matching.
Now, if I'm looking for info on a Wacom W9012, then Googling "Wacom W9012" works pretty well.
On the other hand, Googling "which dictators lived the most modest lives" thinks, "ooh, you said the word 'dicatators'. I'll answer the most common questions about dictators."
Fail.

I noticed that too. Sometimes I get better results doing tangential searches.

Sites: Reboot the computer, clear temporary files, run sfc scannow, download "Definitely Not Dodgy Repair Tool".

I just Googled "android recovery no command" and got a truckload of ways to fix it without any coherent explanation of what the problem actually is.

It's where the BCB is empty and so is /cache/recovery/command.
