Good morning, all. Difficult times... aquarium doesn't want to balance... More dead fishies today, and I can't figure out why!

Oh well... At least the tea is good. Taylors of Harrogate's "Yorkshire" tea never lets me down. Cup after cup, the flavor is always welcome..

Back to my chemistry... what is wrong with this tank water?!?

Water, second liter today. Walked 10k, with 32 Degrees C, 30% humidity, I like it, but I had to keep drinking all the time.

Walking 10k in that heat? You should be drinking a LOT more! Two liters isn't nearly enough! And perhaps make one of those extra ones an electrolyte balancer!

I am walking a lot, very often (two to three times a week, walking in summer, running or hiking in winter, have been doing this for two years now, plus swimming on the non walking day), I always drink while walking, and I am used to the heat too. I never walk after 11 am or before 6 pm in the summer. I drink around 4 liters on a walk day, 2 liters if not walking.

Most of the ex-pats in Asia seem to be either British or Australian, with just a smattering of Canadians and a few American, Russians, Germans and New Zealanders. It's common to hear a lot of different accents, and this fellow has them down pat! Very funny and very accurate!

Me too -- we had such a hot, humid summer here this year that I just got used to being SO sweaty by the end of my walk. I walked just about every morning, all summer, usually between 3 and 4 miles. We had a cold front come in last night, and it was shockingly easy to walk this morning, lol! I ended up doing an extra mile or so just because the cool air and low humidity made me so energetic!
