Well, I haven't seen Spain yet, so not going to comment on them. Prior to winning the Euros they had an uncanny knack for cocking-up on the big occasion; they may not be over that yet.

Also, let's not forget who Germany are playing against; a bunch of ex-Colonials with no real history of playing football. England, on the other hand, played against.....oh yeah.....OK, we're stuffed!

I don't think the "loss" to USA means anything. England played fairly well and just needs some sharpness in front of the goal. They have an easy group so they have a couple of more games before they'll have to play up to the best of their ability.

Glen Johnson played very well.
