tomorrow ist Thursday for iRex. If you remember the memo, they didnt acknowledge the last monday as such, so it became a Tuesday.

You should all be happy to have heard anything at all. I have yet to hear anything. No change in status.

USA, #615

I think that the US customers will only get stuff after all the current European orders are fufilled.

I just got back from training and found a mail from iRex. Unfortunately the boss at iRex refuses to give permission to openly declare what went wrong. I did however get a slightly obscured version that i'm allowed to pass on.

"Unfortunately, my boss has a traditional view on communication and he would disagree with releasing this statement in detail.
What could be released is:

This is the first shipment of iliads from Asia to Europe (anything can go wrong in the first shipment)

There was a misunderstanding with the carrier that shipped the goods to Germany instead of via the Netherlands to Germany

Due to all this the goods stayed in customs without being cleared."

What i have heard from Irex is there was nothing really sent forehand and that all devices of the 1st batch will be sent on wednesday.

Besides that if you don't have your UPS tracking number yet there will be no delivery tomorrow, at least thats what i can say about UPS and we get much stuff via UPS.

UPS is a company which doesn't have to tell fairy tales to their customers :-) and if UPS recieves the costumer dates they send a tracking number to the sender (even before driving by for pickup). So it would be more then unusual (and never happened to me in 5 years dealing with UPS now) that you get a tracking number and a few hours later your order ...

So if there won't be a tracking number tomorrow i won't expect a delivery on friday (but the next lame excuse) :-p
