Like Jelby said, yes. Books need to be in the eBooks directory or subdirectories of it for the Cybook to pick them up, both on the internal flash and on the SD card.

Tried version .431. Seems to work perfectly. It senses the Cybook perfectly, it recognizes almost all the books, by the metadata.
Almost, the only ones it does not recognize are some of the protected ones. Funny that, I have an archaelogy book from Israel Finklestein which has been recognised, and another one from Kim Stanley Robinson whose metadata seem garbled. Both from Fictionwise. I know that Fictionwise only sells them.

Very, very, very good work. Keep on going, Calibre will soon become better than the mobipocket reader.

Send me the MOBI file with the garbled metadata alongwith your mobipocket PID (as I may need to remove the DRM).

Send it to:

Exactly the kind of thing I like to hear!

There should only be one out standing issue on this thread and that is kafka399's. The issue is hal stops reporting the main memory. I've been able to trigger it but I cannot reliably reproduce it. It is a hal issue and there is little I can do about it. My recommendation to anyone on Linux experience this is to try restarting hal.

Version 0.4.132 is out and it works great so far. I have converted a couple of ebooks I had in lit format to mobi successfully. I am getting rid of mobipocket reader/creator. Mobi support is still beta, but I guess in 1-2 weeks most problems will be sorted out!

If you're getting an error with the most recent release, please open a ticket on the calibre trac. Can't fix bugs we don't know about!
