Another reminder on that. Same thing happened to me. And my order was still a prime shipping order, fulfilled by amazon, but sold by a store. So I didn't even know or notice. I just needed that item. I luckily saw that email as you have to actually claim that code before you can use it on prime day. If you miss the email and don't claim it, outta luck.

I am really not liking all these "first time customer" offers. I order from fresh all the time so again no go. I don't have a fresh store to go inside of and the whole foods is way out of my way. I can't get delivery from whole foods, only fresh and prime now. Confusing stuff.

I did get 2 channels for 99 cents for 2 months. Masterpiece and sundance. The new season of Deutschland 89 is coming. 83 and 86 are already on service. A few other shows I want to watch. Planning on cancelling once I watched that off. Its what I do now, subscribe to one prime channel, watch what I want and cancel.

I am also waiting for the fire sticks 4k to go on sale again. I need one more. I have one on all TV's but one. I need it so all TV's can use the recast I already bought on sale. Then I pull the switch and pause youtubeTV for a few months until the next Tennis Grand slam. Need it for ESPN.

Still hoping for more sales for everyone, not just new customers. I mean how many new folks are left after all these years. They gonna run out of new customers.

My small business attempt was a bust, ending in a refund. Just got back from the Amazon 4 store where I bought a package of toothbrush heads for what it would've cost me at BB Beyond with coupon. Credited immediately towards Prime Day.

The small business refund has been credited back to my card today, but still shows as part of a stacked $20 along with the brand new Amazon 4 visit. The Whole Foods credit shows as a separate $10 one, so doubt it stacks.

Same here, and they're not even consistent about it. I did get the $5 credit for watching an episode of a show on Amazon Prime Video, even though I've watched stuff on it before. Only thing I can think of is that this was the first time I'd ever watched one of their videos on my phone or tablet. Previously I just watched stuff on my TV using a Roku box.

Since it worked for me, be sure to check in the app on your phone/tablet (if you have one) and see if the banner for earning $5 for watching a video shows up there. I didn't get the email about receiving the credit for about 48 hours after I watched the video. It's also not limited to Prime Day, as I could have used it earlier today when ordering a power strip for dad.

Since I'll be going near the Whole Foods in Knoxville Tuesday, I'll pop in and see if I can find $10 of something to buy and get that credit.

I wish they would put something new on sale. I currently have six active Echo Dots, and two more unopened in boxes. Got that covered. I've got two Fire HD8's - I use one of them regularly, the other one sits unused. FireSticks? Got two. Use zero (I use my Roku instead). I only have one PaperWhite, so maybe I should buy another one, you know, just in case. Kindle Unlimited? I just finished my sixth free three month trial last Friday. I don't see any need to pay for KU - Amazon just keeps putting them up for free (well, truthfully, two of my six trials I paid 99 cents for, so not exactly free). Others were flat out freebie promos, or came with the purchase of Fire tablets. I'll hang on until Black Friday when I expect the next KU trial to be going for the standard 99 cent price.

(Although IIRC Amazon said they were working to provide more items at a lower price point)

(And not that spending $10 at even a store with lower prices like Aldi would be a challenge to someone sufficiently motivated to do so)

It's bugging me that so many of these Prime offers require an in-person visit to a physical location. They're not in my area at all, or too far away to consider trekking to during a pandemic.

I'm with you. The is NOTHING Amazon related within at least a couple of hours drive near me. I use Amazon because I live in the sticks in a tiny town and NEED things delivered. If I could go shop I wouldn't need them.

The closest Amazon thing to me is only about 5 miles away. However, it happens to be a 2.5 million square foot fulfillment center (counting all three stories), and they don't let us go inside for a browsing and shopping excursion. We'd probably get run over by the robots. We do have really fast deliveries of many items though...

Amazon4, honestly, wasn't all that. Adamantly sticking with only spending on something useful rather than just to fulfill the promotion, I ended up getting Sonicare toothbrush heads that I would need to buy relatively soon.

Anyone tried this? I got the first $10 immediately but I still haven’t been credited for my 2nd and 3rd in-app purchases.
