Hmm the google reader recipe wasn't written by me. As far as I recall, it only downloads starred feeds.

update in case anybody else is using google reader...
i thought i could use that to cleverly create one file will all the rss feeds i wanted to follow (without having a recipe for each one), but it turns out it's not a very satisfactory solution. - it only includes starred articles, and you must star each article individually i think (i don't see any option in google reader to automatically star all articles of a particular feed, but maybe i just don't know where to look). - it only includes the first part of the article, not the full text, and apparently no images. so i think i will stick to the full individual recipes, and i'll try to find a solution for other rss feeds. |

You can just add all your feeds to a custom recipe in calibre.

You will have to figure out what parameters are being sent to the login url and what is login url. For that you should use firefox plugin Live http headers. |

Newbie here with a question on Calibre, which I LOVE btw! I want to permanently change tags on my newspapers that I download daily so that they are in one collection on my device. I changed them with the edit meta information tool which works for papers already loaded, but when they load again the next day, they revert back to their original tags. Not being code savvy, I need a little help on how to do this.
Thank you so much in advance. |

They should already all be under the News collection on your reader
