Marc, actually that's not a llama. There is no such thing. It's just a horse in a Ghillie Suit.

Evil. Horses. I'm sure of it. Flowers probably are too (especially roses...and tulips...and definitely triffids)

Cheers,

You may not be far off the truth. One of my neighbors (now since moved away, ... yay) had the horse from hell that used to attack anyone that came into "his" pasture. Problem is ... the main trail cuts right across that pasture.

I don't hate all horses ... but that horse was evil incarnate. No question.

TMJ is evil incarnate too. Or maybe it's just my entire body that is evil incarnate. This is how it works. My elbow starts killing me, so I go see a doctor and take pills. The elbow stops bothering me, but then the lower back starts feeling like all hell. So, I go to a doctor and take pills. The lower back stops hurting and now my right mandibular joint feels like someone is stabbing me in the face.

I give up .... someone just kill me now. The world will be a better place and you KNOW I'll appreciate it.

Have you tried seeing a dentist about the TMJ, Ricky?
I had it badly about 20 years ago. It hurt so much that I had trouble sleeping. The dentist made a small plastic thingie to slip over the teeth - to be worn while sleeping. I used it for a few months and the TMJ went away and hasn't returned. It must have realigned the bite.

Hey-- what is TMJ, anyway?

Too Much Juice?

Torn Munchie Jawbones?

Temporal Mandibular Jaundice?

I think acronyms are Evil Incarnate!

I think those are also to prevent you from grinding your teeth at night. I have been under tons of stress lately, and who knows but I might be gnashing and grinding my teeth the whole night through.

If it keeps up, I will see a dentist. I wear a retainer at night as it is ... so it would have to be something I could wear with that.

If it weren't for the fact that it really hurts, it would be funny .... all I have to do is bite down just the tiniest bit wrong and the next thing I'm grabbing my cheeks and cursing.

I think when I land in Monterey and have a few days to just go zen listening to seminars (on such thrilling topics as the tax treatment of corporations), then I might relax a bit. It's a few days off from painting, mopping floors, sawing, drilling, and cleaning cat boxes ... oh, and from walking doggies .... and work (almost forgot that).

Wifey does that... Grinding her teeth at night, it quite often gets so bad that she wakes not only herself up with all the gnashing of the teeth, but me as well. But thats ok, since I am suffering from sleep apnea, so I'm waking HER up with heavy snoring and long breathing pauses.

The only ones getting any real sleep in hour household is the dogs....
