Meanwhile, the 20 ounce bottles in the refrigerated cases at the supermarket have undergone another price increase and now cost $1.99 each. The last price increase was a couple of years ago. I like picking up a bottle for the ride home, but not at that price. They are much less expensive at the Costco and Walmart vending machines, so I still have one occasionally.

If we are traveling, we typically stop at Kent Kwik or Allsups for water. Much cheaper than the other two chain convenience stores charge for drinks. (1.89 is average.)
KK sells one brand of water 16.9 oz bottles 4/$1. Allsups is $1.09 for 32 oz.

Didn't get to take advantage of any sales here. I depend on the cab to get around to the store and the cab was also shut down for the holiday.
