If you used Calibre to convert your book it might be a conversion issure or if you de-drmed it, it might be corrupted.

I see. Thank you for your efforts to figure out the problem. I use freeLib to operate my offline fb2-libraries and to convert books to AZW3.

As I mentioned above, everything was OK before firmware version 5.7.2.

We'll proceed to resolve the problem.

That's what I have, as well, which is my second Kindle reader. I may think twice now about updating the firmware on that one.

Maybe it"s a bug related to showing the dictionary window for the word you select.

I don't think so, as you can see in the two screenshots that I took the dictionary lookup worked fine in the books that I converted, but didn't work with the book that Zilov has converted with freeLib.
Most likely, Amazon slightly changed the file format and some of the existing converters might need to be updated.

:-) Not exactly. This firmware broke my usual books' upload process.

I use just proprietary Amazon dictionary supplied by firmware. Language setting is "Russian".

I simply unpacked it with KindleUnpack and compiled it (the ePub from the mobi8 folder) with KindleGen, but it should also work with Calibre.

No, once you define a sort option for one collection it's used for all other collections as well.

Yes, I've just re-saved the AZW3 by Calibre and that is a miracle: quotations work!

I miss the "Reading Progress" selection from the menu, which is gone. It was an easy way to change how you wanted to show your progress in a book. I prefer just a list on the home page, so I turned off the other new features.

You can toggle the different settings by tapping in the lower left corner.
