Get this Pdf Book about an UCLA Exhibition of Art Related to Tea--FREE!

The Fowler Museum at UCLA had (I'm assuming that it's over) an exhibition of art related to tea. This item below is a curriculum resource for teachers that the museum published to go along with the exhibition.

You might not find this resource much use for teaching purposes, especially since the exhibition is over, but this freebie is chock-full of interesting stuff about tea. There is some fascinating reading and there are quite a few big, beautiful photographs of beautiful objects that were in the exhibition, too.

This book appears to have never been for sale. Due to that fact, there is no Amazon pricing and other such information.

A little free piece of information from me . . . . the only correct way to drink tea is iced, strong, and very sweet. Southern style. ha

FREE Very Highly Rated Book on Sustainable Energy.

This cleverly-titled book gets very technical. However, I think that the average Mobilereader could pick through it and get a lot of information from it.

Title: Sustainable Energy--Without the Hot Air.
Format: Pdf.
Author(s): David JC MacKay.
Publisher: UIT Cambridge.
Pages: About 375.
Ebook Rating/Number of Reviews (Amazon): 4.7 (74).
Price: $0.00.
Lowest Price at Amazon if available there: $8.97 (Used, Paperback, "Very Good"); the Kindle mobi is $28.00.
Book Description (Amazon):
Addressing the sustainable energy crisis in an objective manner, this enlightening book analyzes the relevant numbers and organizes a plan for change on both a personal level and an international scale—for Europe, the United States, and the world. In case study format, this informative reference answers questions surrounding nuclear energy, the potential of sustainable fossil fuels, and the possibilities of sharing renewable power with foreign countries. While underlining the difficulty of minimizing consumption, the tone remains positive as it debunks misinformation and clearly explains the calculations of expenditure per person to encourage people to make individual changes that will benefit the world at large.
Comments: Copyrighted 2009.
I found the links below at www.withouthotair.com, after seeing several statements, on other web sites, offering the book free at that website. The server for the domain where the book is posted is set up by the author (see http://www.inference.eng.cam.ac.uk/). Therefore, I believe that the book is a legal free download.

Hmmm . . . . all of them, huh? That really makes me wonder if all of these publishers are owned by the same person or company. Otherwise, there would have to be collaboration, in which they all decided to have a sale at the same time, right?

I think that I have the names/bookmarks for several other of these companies. I'll try to check them in the next day or two.

Oh, and thanks for your post.

The Great Siege: Malta 1565
by Ernle Bradford

is $1.99 at Amazon

http://www.amazon.com/Great-Siege-Ma...at+siege+malta

Below is the blurb:
Suleiman the Magnificent, the most powerful ruler in the world, was determined to conquer Europe. Only one thing stood in his way: a dot of an island in the Mediterranean called Malta, occupied by the Knights of St. John, the cream of the warriors of the Holy Roman Empire. A clash of civilizations the likes of which had not been seen since Persia invaded Greece was shaping up. Determined to capture Malta and use its port to launch operations against Europe, Suleiman sent an armada and an overwhelming army. A few thousand defenders in Fort St. Elmo fought to the last man, enduring cruel hardships. When they captured the fort, the Turks took no prisoners and mutilated the defenders’ bodies. Grand Master La Vallette of the Knights reciprocated by decapitating his Turkish prisoners and using their heads to cannonade the enemy. Then the battle for Malta began in earnest: no quarter asked, none given.

Man, between StoryBundle and Humble, I'm going to break the bank building up my TBR.

... then again, at the rate I read, it's still cheaper than hitting the regular bookstore or Amazon digital.

I hear you!

If I end up getting these two bundles - what? 28 titles - that's $30, which is the approximate price of one hardback.

Ebook buying has definitely spoiled me! Argggggghhh!!!!
