I somehow got this with the purchase of a single 99¢ indie-published ebook. So read the messages to those generic "promotional credit" subject lines just in case. My first fear was that my account had been hacked and used for a spree, I couldn't imagine why I got this.

Which book was it? This promo makes it difficult to identify the cheapest qualifying purchases.

I got the code for purchasing a cat toy. Nothing was mentioned on the product page, but the e-mail showed up in my mailbox.

The terms say it's nontransferable--anyone know if that's really true? I'd just as soon give the code away, as I'll never watch it.

Google has the Chromecast on sale for $30 at the Google Play store, plus you get back $20 in Google Play credit, so final cost is actually $10 with free shipping.

I decided to order one. Ironically, I had to use Firefox to complete the purchase. Chrome wouldn't go to the checkout.

I got the code for Kung Fu Panda for purchasing cat food. I saw that someone got it when they bought an ebook. It looks like just about any purchase will get it for you.

That's funny. Maybe a pop-up blocker on Chrome?
I really like my Chromecasts, and Google offers so many promotions they almost pay for themselves.

I dunno....I tried and tried to get movie tickets through Fandango, and never worked, finally used Firefox to try, and it worked fine.
