Just asking... Why do you need dmesg log? Is because you are fixing something in your AG2 that messed up tweaking? or just trying to improve the device?

light after wake up

I´ve noticed strange behaviour - when I wake up reader, it is automatically little backlighted... Not so much, but noticeable... And it is done although I´ve untick "Wake up" checkbox in Power management menu...
Is there any other settings ro get rid off this? I´d like to start to not backlighted display...
(fw 1.6.6)

No, there is no other way... this bug is persistent in the newest firmware too.

That's piti
BTW: Do you have newer fw than 1.6.6? When I try OTA update, it says, that I'm on the latest. And when I've tried fw taken from onyx site for C67ML it doesn't come through and stopped on another device error...

AG2 should only be updated from Arta Tech... either OTA or from their site. The Onyx International firmware is not compatible with this device. 1.6.6 is the newest one.

Dear Friends, this is my first post here so please forgive me if I make any mistakes - especially because I'm writing with my afterglow 2 right now. Since my eyes are quite ill, I can't look into any screens, except e-ink ones so this little device is a lifesaver me as it let's me go on the net. However, it is very awkward to write on this screen so I would like to ask if there is any way to attach an external keyboard to the afterglow 2? Your replies are greatly appreciated!

I haven't tried that but the USB keyboard should work if you use USB OTG cable as visible on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAG-pYuXdg0

I suspect you'll need a powered otg cable (where there's an extra dongle for you to plug in a charger) as the device is unlikely to supply the current needed to power the keyboard. I don't have one myself so I can't recommend one very effectively. Please do post back if you find something that works for you.

My concern about which one to buy is that you get a cable that allows you to power the peripheral rather than merely charge the ereader at the same time you use a peripheral. I have no idea if there are different subsets of otg cables that handle where the power goes differently, but perhaps to be on the safe side, you could get a powered usb hub (which is designed to power peripherals) plug your keyboard into that and then plug the hub into your current otg cable.

Good luck

I meant simply wired USB keyboard. I am not sure how do you exactly connect Bluetooth keyboard... do you connect Bluetooth dongle to OTG? That may not work as expected. I think you should try any simple wired USB keyboard. The power may be an issue too as Marseille mentioned.

ok i got the powered USB hub and a keyboard but it just doesn't work. our little device is just not capable of connecting anything through USB, the only thing it can do is charging. however, I have found a perfect solution via WiFi,if anyone is interested, I can write it,it works perfectly.
