Why would you feel bad about it in the first place?

you know when you have some breakthrough in your life and some objects seem to stick from that date?

maybe he just prizes it for sheer luck and success... he's perfectly right to it.

Could be. And if that's the case ... then he should've just said that instead of making crap up about spell-checkers and internet distractions.

Well, that certainly explains why I'm still wearing those panties I have from that BONZO year I had in 1985.

Using the keyboard shortcut would have been more steps than:

- switching to Internet Explorer
- selecting the filepath in the URL bar
- switching back to Chrome
- pasting the filepath into the URL bar and tapping return

(it was a deep path that would've required a lot of clicking, hence my annoyance that drag-dropping wasn't working)

On a Mac, I might have used Command-o in a similar situation, but I'd've dragged the file I wanted to open to the sidebar first, so that it would've been waiting for me --- I didn't want to use Control-o 'cause it would've been a pain either re-navigating to the file, since Windows doesn't let one drag into a file open dialog to re-set where it's pointing to.

I think you meant to respond in the thread about the Surface Pro 3. (report your post and have it moved. For the moderator: move mine with it.)

Anyway: You can also drag the file from the File Browser into Firefox or Chrome and it will open like that too.
