Two books by Joe Hill are currently marked down to $1.99 on Amazon: Heart-Shaped Box and 20th Century Ghosts. This is in addition to his NOS4A2 being $1.99 at Amazon and B&N.

Are these really SF/Fantasy? From the blurb at Amazon they sound like straightforward horror.

The line between horror and dark fantasy is rather subjective, and there's a lot of overlap - both between authors and readers.

They were the last magic users in the world.
Seventeen witches and eight badly inbred mages. Nine wizards, eight of them transformed into large black goats.

Bundle of Holding is re-running their original bundle of SF/Fantasy novels (by RPG game designers and set in their worlds) from February 2013. The minimum purchase price for the core books is $4.95 and the minimum price to unlock the bonus books is currently at $11 but will probably go up as more purchases are made. Here is the blurb from the email I got:

Quote:
THE ORIGINAL BUNDLE - RESURRECTED!

The Bundle of Holding launched in February of this year. Software developers talk of launching with a "Minimum Viable Product" -- a minimally functional, bare-bones version. We certainly did that. The original Bundle site was ugly and clumsy to use. But we're still proud of our first offer, a collection of novels by leading roleplaying game designers. Those first contributors -- later christened the fellowship of the Illustrious Forebears -- made this site possible. With the site's great growth in recent months, we wanted to bring that collection to the attention of our new customers. So we're resurrecting, for a very limited time, the Original Bundle of Holding.

Every purchase of the Original Bundle of Holding includes this core collection of ebook novels:
Hexcommunicated by Rafael Chandler
Fable of the Swan by Jenna Katerin Moran
Hero Worship by Derek Patton Pearcy
Birth of the Dread Remora by Aaron Rosenberg
Tournament of Death by Stephen D. Sullivan

If you pay higher than the threshold price (starting at US$10.95), you also get these bonus novels and story collections:

Hard Times in Dragon City by Matt Forbeck
Playing for Keeps by Mur Lafferty
Mindjammer by Sarah Newton
Stay Alert by Allen Varney
Irregular Creatures by Chuck Wendig

The complete collection retails for $32. Ten percent of your payment is donated to our contributors' chosen charity, Reading is Fundamental.

The starting threshold price of this bundle will be weighted to keep it from rising too fast. The sooner you buy, the lower the threshold price, and the cheaper it is to get the bonus books. But act fast -- the Original Bundle of Holding departs again this Thursday morning, January 2. (Wait, aren't resurrection spells permanent?! Where's that cleric?)
According to the email, they also plan to rerun a number of their early bundles in January and February (most bundles are RPG's, but a couple of them are novel collections).

Well, I've seen NOS4A2 on a lot of best of SF/Fantasy list lately. Somebody must think they are.
