That depends on the app you use. The T68 comes with 4 reader apps installed: FBReader, OnyxReader, AIReader, and CoolReader. All of them have different settings.

Also, note to anyone using CoolReader: Do not try to use the rotate function. It will brick the application. If you do not heed my advice and this happens to you, you can fix the app by deleting the .cr3 folder in the device's filesystem.

That's a bug of the "unforgivable" called.
No happens to the CoolReader Onyx, which is loaded with bugs both Linux and Android.
Hopefully settle it, for the sake of the new owners.

So how good is OnyxReader and AIReader? Do either of them support ADE DRM? How customizable are these two?

What a seriously worthless video. It spends most of the video on a Bible app and not what's important such as how is the device with what comes with it. In fact, I've not seen a video review or read a review that says anything useful. Useful being how is the software that comes on the T68. Without this, any review is worthless.

I'd been hoping to see the Kindle app in action on the T68. Thanks for posting this video link, I hadn't seen it previously and it answered some of my questions.

So does anyone own a T68 who can tell me about the apps I've asked about?

The questions I am asking should be a part of the review and should not have to be asked. Poor reviews make it so I have to ask.

A question for people who have installed Android apps on eink devices: if the app isn't designed for eink, is there extra flashing refreshes?

Thanks.

I'm sure Nate will when he does his official review. He is still working on that.

Just ask him, will you? That's how he runs his site. People chat away in the comments section a bit like a forum. He doesn't do 'standard' reviews. He encourages interactive sessions and they are better for it.

Funnily enough, that can be a fiddly business. For example, installing custom fonts with Coolreader on a Nook ST can be a nightmare because the custom fonts have to be stored in an area which can't be written to...Awesome! Fbreader accepts custom fonts okay though.
