I may be misinterpreting something. Does the Kindle Fire have access to the web through WhisperNet? Or, does it only access the web through a WiFi connection?

OH YIKES. Looks like ALL of the prices in the press release are for the offer version! (not sure about the tablet.) Kindle Touch without offers is $139. That's kind of misleading!

No sign of the "Touch" being available to order yet.

One thing I do notice is that the "Keyboard" has only 2GB RAM, with 1.25GB available to the user. That's only 38% of the amount of RAM available on the current Kindles.
