I can still try. I'm not sure if he realized that the nook is an android device, that entourage edge and entourage pocket edge are android devices that are considered tablets in certain contexts.

So I only can give feedback about the sales staff in the ca. 10 shops I've seen in the last 2 weeks.
The attitude was such as "we've got some on stock. Do you want one? You can take your time, the stock will last for quite some time, demand isn't that big".
Just a snapshot, but extremely consistent in all the stores.
I'm no Apple fanboy, not at all. But the impression really was almost some kind of resignation, as if Apple already would have "won the war".
May be a German preference, maybe I've got the wrong impression. But to me -quite frustratingly, loving PlayBook and diversity in general- it really seemed that way...

I played with one yesterday. BN sells it as an e-reader first; 'the readers tablet'. It's next to the Nook touch in the store.

(and it has that dreaded 16:x resolution)
