Wow, this thread gave me several titles to add to my wishlist, including some I read years ago that need revisiting. I love anything scary, both books and movies. There's been too many for me to list the scariest, but Amityville and Pet Sematary both freaked me out quite badly at the time I read them.

That whole movie scared the hell out of me...and when the tree grabbed the boy I think my heart stopped. There are quite a few scenes I will be happy never to see again.

As for the 2nf one, the scary skeleton looking guy - the preacher - he scared me, but he's all i remember from the movie. Oh, him and the canary dieing.

I never finished the 3rd one, it was awful (as in really bad, not scary), and you could tell that the poor little girl was sick.
