Any thoughts on the Long Earth series? I LOVE Baxter and his Clarke-ian brand of hard sci-fi. But I have zero interest in Terry Pratchett and wasn't wild about Good Omens.

I heard it's not Pratchetty. It's mostly based on hard SF ideas by him that are, and by that time he wasn't really writing.

It's entirely different than his Discworld novels. There's not much humor at all in them. I didn't like them much, even though I loved his Discworld novels, Nome trilogy and Good Omens a lot.
