Mobi or AZW3?

Up until now, I have converted epub files to mobi in order to read the book on my Kindle paperwhite 2019. Is there some advantage I would gain if I would convert to AZW3 format instead?

Embed & subset fonts. Use Publisher option on Kindle Font menu.

Custom fonts and the boldness slider. Neither works with the old mobi.

Just think that Mobi no longer exists and you'll be better off.

If formatting, fonts and weight adjustment are important to you.
