Libra Are kwmobile's cases good?

For whatever reason, the only SleepCover I can get on the Kobo site is pink:



I really do not want a pink cover. So I went to Amazon to look if it was there and found a third-party case from kwmobile. It's cheaper than the SleepCover and it's pretty too.

With that in mind, has anybody else used kwmobile's cases? Are they any good?

I used covers from this manufacturer. A good company and previously there was a very good choice in colors. But for the second year now, their choice has been greatly reduced

Since the cover you are seeking is for the previous Libra model, Kobo is probably sold out of the others because you weren’t alone in your aversion to pink!

Very good. I have their origami and ordinary book style cases for all my Kobos. I have multiple for each device (I’m a sucker for nice cases). In fact I have Forma 4, Libra H20 5, Clara HD 3.

That’s on my Forma. They are textured which is nice to hold, not slippery at all. They do rub around the edges of the device, you can see that on mine, but that adds to its charm.

I have a kwmobile case on my H2O and it's still going strong after about 5 years of use. I definitely recommend it.

I'm thinking that ownedbycats is male or identifies as male. Women are more likely to use the more evocative "rose" color. Years ago I was getting Land's End clothing catalogs and I was amused at how a shirt in the men's section would be "light green" but in the women's it would be something like celery or sea foam.

Although I was (as always) greatly entertained to see assumptions about gender-based language choice result in the facial application of ovate matter, another possibility occurred to me. Irrespective of gender, the use of color names could be influenced by one's L1 - in Indic languages for example, the word for "pink" IS the word for "rose", making it a distinction without a difference.

To me rose and pink are definitely different (though I don't want either for my eBook case, I definitely like rose better).

I've got a KWMobile case on my Tolino Vision 4, with a mermaid on it. (My wife loves giving me a hard time about that.) It was the only Vision 4 case I could find sold in America. Despite the mermaid it's pretty well built (sturdier than the Fintie Slim Shells, in my opinion, and it covers all the surfaces of the Vision 4 where there are no ports or buttons — unlike some of the other Slim Shell cases I've seen).

Yes I have, yes they are. I used a kwmobile case on my original Kobo Aura* after the Kobo cover turned out to be junky. The kwmobile cover lasted me the life of the Aura and was given away with it.

*In another thread, I claimed it was a Fintie case. But a search of my Amazon purchases just told me different.
