Thank you. As for the color I wanted something a bit darker. I am a bit colorblind to red/green (not that it matters in a b&W ereader) so i want to have a darker color subtitle as my eyes see the original subtitles as washed out.

Weird but that is how it is for me.

But after your post, I might just make the main title and subtitles the same color: black. Thanks

GitHub link to the 4 files which comprise the updated nickel.yaml file for fw 4.30.18838. The patches in the pgaskin.yaml portion didn't need to be corrected.

Only for footer, it won't work separately now.

BUT I think i made a mistake in my question. What I meant was the space between the edges of the screen (top and bottom) and the caption (The header and the footer, i.e. Chapter and Title of book) and the text.

To explain, i attched an image of what i want to do.

Thanks, but adjusting the line spacing adjusts the spaces between each text lines.

What I want is a bigger space between the header and first line only; and a smaller space (compared to the space between header and first line of text) between the footer and last line of text?

And also affects the free space at the top and bottom. You tried to change or immediately unsubscribed, without checking...

Can those two spaces be set to definite gap independent of the line spacing, so the text can have smaller spaces but the gaps on those (header and first line; and footer and last line) will remain constant?

Here is a visual aid, how and what is changing. To reduce the footer and header, the Reduce new header/footer height patch is used.
And using the line spacing, you can choose the optimal distance.

I've updated the patches. Now it's time to get started dealing with them so they can be applied.

Plato is significantly faster than Kobo's default OS. Is this something that could be improved in one of these patches? I am refering to page turns speed.
