Die Aktualisierung der Wiki-Seite stammt von mir. Den Vorgang hatte ich anscheinend nur auf der falschen Forumsseite angekündigt. Der Vorgang ist noch nicht fertig. Ich arbeite gerade die Einträge durch, um fehlerhafte Links zu korrigieren, neue Fassungen nach Datum und Version zu ändern und Einträge ohne eBook zu bereinigen. Als Zeitrahmen habe ich mir einen Abschluss bis zum Herbst vorgenommen.

Nun bin ich früher als erwartet mit der Aktualisierung der Wiki-Tabelle durch. Wen es interessiert, nähere Informationen habe ich in dem entsprechenden Diskussionsstrang eingefügt.

Dort habe ich auch das Excel-Makro samt Tabelle angehängt. Ich habe zwar vor, die Tabelle zumindest monatlich zu aktualisieren, aber wer weiß wie das Leben läuft. Dann soll zumindest die Vorlage da sein.

Völlig fehlerfrei wird die Tabelle sicher nicht sein, aber ich denke, ich habe die meisten gefunden und bereinigt. Und es werden nicht alle Bücher enthalten sein, die jemals hochgeladen wurden. Bei ein paar Büchern bin ich zufällig darüber gestolpert, dass sie noch nicht in der Liste vorhanden sind, die habe ich nachgetragen.


Eine Bitte hätte ich: Wenn von einem Buch eine neue Version hochgeladen wird, das bitte auch im "E-Books in Deutsch"-Thread mitteilen. Da die Versionsnummer nun auch in der Tabelle steht, lässt es sich dann dort ebenfalls aktualisieren.

Obwohl ich einige Jahre kaum hier im Forum war, habe ich doch immer weiter e-books gelesen, meist gekaufte aktuelle Bücher. Die spontane Anschaffung des neuen Pocketbook InkPad Color hat mich aktuell wieder hierher zurückgebracht. Ich freue mich, dass hier noch Leben ist und ich bin begeistert, dass weiterhin neue Bücher hochgeladen werden. Durch kurzes Stöbern habe ich schon wieder einiges heruntergeladen. Ich danke allen, die hier aktiv sind.

Biografische Daten von Julius Mader?
Ich arbeite gerade an 2 weiteren Büchern von Karel Čapek, die von Julius Mader übersetzt wurden.

Eines davon wurde von Projekt Gutenberg Deutschland digitalisiert und bereitgestellt und ist daher höchstwahrscheinlich gemeinfrei.

Ich habe allerdings Probleme biografische Daten von diesem Übersetzer zu finden, weil es einen anderen Autor gleichen Namens gibt Julius Mader (1928-2000), der definitiv nicht gemeinfrei ist.

Was ich bis jetzt gefunden habe ist:
Geburtsdatum: 12. 4. 1899
Geburtsort: Zdounek (Zdounky)
Wohnort: Reichenberg (Liberec)

Kennt jemand vielleicht sein Sterbejahr?

erläutern. Das hat irgendwas mit der Bibel zu tun, aber so richtich schlau werd ich daraus nicht ...

Black-Letter Edition bezieht sich höchstwahrscheinlich auf traditionelle Bibeln, die nahezu vollständig in Fraktur gesetzt wurden. Hier ist eine Seite aus der King James-Bibel:

vielen Dank, jetzt wird mir das um einiges klarer.

Es ist im wesentlichen ein typografischer Begriff und steht (für eine Vielzahl) gebrochener Schriften.
