I've been meaning to try Beacon 23, as well. But pretty-much everything Howie has written since the Wool series has been a big disappointment for me. So maybe I'll just wait for the TV show after all.

Different strokes..., I've enjoyed what I've read of his stuff*, although I haven't read all his stuff. I wish he would write more.

I did like the first book in the Molly Fyde series. I've not yet read the others.

As one who thoroughly enjoyed Wool, it's not like I'm holding him to any high literary standards, or anything.

I tried Sand (which oddly enough, doesn't show up in the list of books on his own website ), The Shell Collector, and various short stories, but none seemed to grab me the way Wool immediately did. **shrug**

Perhaps I need to give some of his newest stuff a go.

I've read them all. It get's a bit sloppy in later books, but still enjoyable.
