Do you shop on your Kobo? - Page 2

I answered yes, but, I didn't really want to. I have bought a few books on the device recently. But, they all came from my wishlist. And most were using points. That doesn't feel like "Shopping" to me, but, it is using the store.

Unless the Kobo store experience on a Kobo is way, way better than the Kindle store experience on a Kindle.

??? For me, I simply select Kobo Store under search, enter my search term and tap go to search for an author or title. No links needed.

It's why I patch the home screen to remove the third row of Kobo store items, recommendations or whatever. I would never use it, so it's just an annoyance for me to see those useless items there.

That's what I'm getting at: judging by the survey, at the moment 90% in fact voted for "Disable Kobo store" (leaving the search in the store).

I believe my kobo has wifi... Had it enabled once, to setup my device

I prefer to shop on a device that has a large screen and has a very good response, preferable with an attached keyboard: ie my pc. I even almost never buy on my tablet.

I rarely buy from my H2O, but I occasionally do so. Usually when I finish reading a book and decide that I want the next one *now*. :-D I think I've done that maybe three times.

Not even once. I buy either from Google or Kobo, then sideload. My reader isn't even set up with a Wi-Fi connection.

Sometimes. I usually buy several books at a time which is much easier on a computer. But there'll be situations every so often where it's more convenient to buy it on the e-reader - for example, if I'm travelling without a computer (e.g. on holiday) and I finish a book and like it well enough to want to buy the next in the series.

- like surfing multiple sites to read reviews, etc.
- like to review book covers in color as meant to be
- am always using other devices anyway
- use ereader to breakaway from everything including internet while reading
