Is it possible to compare two datetime columns from the same book? (My intended purpose is finding books where #fanficupdated is later than #lastread.) I checked the documentation and this thread and did not find anything about that.

What touch of SQL I know is only enough to compare to a fixed date.

Did you try using an Intrabook Query on the first Tab? That will answer your question.

SQL Queries are an entirely different Tab.

Question: For intrabook queries, is there a way to search for columns that are null or not null? Doing a text search using = or != on a wildcard works on text and number columns, but not dates.

I'm also unsure of how to search a bool column. I tried true/false and yes/no and they didn't work. For my current purposes I can just do marked:true #boolcolumn:yes/no after running the intrabook search but it'd be helpful to know in future.

While I'm here: Is there any sort of "saved search" feature? Save Criteria only saves one at a time. Just making sure I didn't miss anything obvious.

I figured out the first question. I saw this in the PDF manual, but misunderstood it as trying to match 0000-00-00 as a date:

If you specify that the Search Text is Text (not a Lookup/Search Name), and you leave the field empty, it will be treated as an empty string (i.e., “”) for text, a 0 for integers, 0.00 for floats, and “0000-00-00” for dates.

Searching a blank value with = or != worked.
