It might come up with a manual factory reset. See https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kob...ing_squares.22 for instructions.

Otherwise, you probably need to reimage the internal SD card. I have sent PM with the link to the image if that is needed.

Hi David,
unfortunately i need the Kobo Glo HD SD image too...
My kobo is frozen, i've tried all the factory reset etc without any result.

Hello, could someone send me a sd card image for the kobo glo hd?

tl;dr

If someone does have some time, i'll describe what happened to my kobo, and you may help me figure out what's going on.

Long story short, my kobo suddenly stopped, never received water, never had any unprotected fall, everything was working fine until it stopped, for a few days a loading image showed off in the center of the screen but no boot.

A few tries later the screen went blank and only the top red light showed any life signal.

Dumb as I am, I just copied the files from the sd card, formated it and pasted back again. Now I know how stupid I was

Can someone relate to this sudden crash? it seems to receive energy but none reset method worked out.

It is probably to late to work out what went wrong. A factory reset at the time might have gotten it working. But, if you have taken the card out and formatted it, you need the image to fix it.
