Where to buy a used Japanese Kindle from the USA
Is there a place on the web where we can buy a used Japanese Kindle? eBay & Amazon have come up empty. I assume that there just aren’t any for sale there at the moment, but maybe my keywords are wrong, and maybe you know of a better place? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Why do you require a ‘Japanese’ Kindle? Any recent Kindle handles Japanese language just fine, you can switch the UI to Japanese, there are dictionaries, input method for Japanese text, etc.

If you want a Kindle with 32GB storage, the current Kindle Paperwhite is available with 32GB instead of 8GB for just £30/$30 more than the base model.
In the US it looks like they're discounted just at the moment. 32GB Paperwhite for $124.99. |

I actually had old information regarding the regional lock. After some experimenting, I was able to register my current Kindle with my Japanese account and download books from the Japanese store without fiddling with VPN proxies as one has to do on a Mac or PC. So I don’t need a Japanese Kindle after all. I don’t even need it to have 3G network support. As you pointed out, new Kindles have excellent Japanese support. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I have what I presume is a Japanese market 32 GB PW3 Manga originally bought on Woot.com a couple of years ago, considerably before the PW4 with 32GB option was introduced. I would presume a search for "Kindle PW3 Manga" might turn up something if someone is still interested. As noted though the current Kindle readers are pretty much international.
