Aura ONE What is the nearest replacement for the Aura ONE

My Aura ONE is fine but I am looking to the future. I don't like the form factor of the Forma or H20. Is the Clara the right replacement?

I don’t think there’s a big enough jump to warrant any of them. The Clara has similar touch only design, but it also doesn’t support Overdrive and has a considerably smaller 6” screen against the Aura One’s 7.8”. The Forma has an 8” screen and Overdrive but side buttons.

The Forma is probably the closer of them. The Aura One was the highest end eReader they had at introduction and that’s currently held by the Forma.

are you sure the Clara HD doesn't have Overdrive?

The Clara HD does not support Overdrive. That feature came when the Aura One was released.

You are correct and the Clara HD was released after the KA1. Yes, the Clara HD has Overdrive.

Well you ruled out the two closest devices and Kobo only has four devices out right now. They’ll have a fifth temporarily until the Aura 2 drops out of stock everywhere after the Nia is in stores.

Of those left the Clara would be the closest but you’re giving up a lot of screen for that.

I like my Clara a lot. Surprisingly I like my Libra format once i actually held it

The nearest replacement to the KA1 is the Forma. KA1 7.8" screen. Forma 8" screen and lighter.

Yeah, but it's been 2 years, so generally, there's a refresh after 2 years... But this year, with all the Covid, I really don't know if we'll see something new this year, besides the Nia.
