Preview displaying as blank white box - Page 2

I had also deleted any apps I had installed since Sigil worked correctly and on one trial restart the preview did display - though the result was incorrectly scaled and looked a bit pants - on the next restart it was back to not functioning at all. After I used your suggested Terminal code to limit the graphical functionality, Sigil went back to functioning correctly. I have yet to test whether that survives a restart, but if it doesn't I can repeat the exercise I assume with a modification to make the change persistent.

Given that PageEdit and Sigil were previously working (and the fact that we've heard no similar reports from other Cata!ina users), I'd say the chances of any kind of non-official system patching done in that same time frame being the culprit is quite high.
